Getting Started Google Docs
You must get a Google account to use any type of Google Doc--word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, forms.
  • Get a Google Account
  • Start at the Google Docs page.
  • Click New--and choose the type of document you want to create.
  • Share by inviting via email. You can invite people to view only or collaborate. They will need Google accounts to view or collaborate.

Google Forms
We used a Google form to introduce ourselves at the start of class. It is an easy tool for pre-assessment, surveys, information gathering, posting research data, etc. Results are shown in a spreadsheet. You can invite people to view or collaborate.
